6/2/2023 0 Comments Goodbye mr chips james hiltonChipping, nearing ninety and still telling his hoary old jokes from sixty years ago to the newbies at Brookfields school, spends his last few days on earth wandering among the many well-furnished rooms in his head. Also don't know whether I should recommend this. My English professor did an excellent job in explaining this novel. Maybe because I got emotionally attached with him as I had been reading this novel for almost six months. His death scene literally made my eyes wet. Except for them, I couldn't enjoy much of the novel. And last few chapters related to war were also good. I liked his sense of humour and thoughts. Although it was boring, I liked the character of Mr. Because it was little boring for my taste. "Brookfield will never forget his lovableness."Before starting, I thought I wouldn't love this novel.
